not having interweb at home is interesting.
it points out even more just how much i do on the internet.
and like just now, i've spent the last near two hours online but not necessarily doing phd work. i sent about 4 emails - 2 of which were pretty in depth, traded emails with adrian about setting up a meeting next week, checked other emails, tried to use internations to find a social activity to meet people, have been typing blog posts, played words with friends and draw something, googled one or two things, read tweets, went on facebook, and ordered those tshirts. and now i'm going to go log in my dailymile exercise. that's a lot different activities that are daily things. i like the internet. so far i'm not too hard pressed about not using it at home (i've watched some dvds - last night a bad movie and before that the australian tv series 'the librarians') but it really is fundamental to my life as it stands.
