interweb

so apparently my landlord does not pay a monthly fee for unlimited access.  it's a crazy small tiny download amount and so i racked up a rather large internet bill.

now i don't really think i can be fully blamed as i didn't know that was the case.

but it also means that i need to drastically change my internet habits.  (case in point, i'm sitting at the library on campus right now - although i had tried to go to my office but my swipe card didn't grant me access for some unknown reason.)  i've gotten really used to living my life on the internet by living abroad and i do most of my work for school on the internet too so this will be interesting.

but i've figured i'll just spend a bit more time at my office and use uni's internet.  it's just going to require a huge shift in that i won't be able to watch movies, tv, upload pictures, blog, etc at home as i would normally.

i did discover that the campus library has some dvds though, so barring an issue with regions, i might be able to watch some movies (or rewatch all of six feet under because they have a few random tv series).
