went with the other students to support jeanine doing her candidacy presentation. (it's the process they're making me go through even though i already started my research.) she did a fantastic job. and the professors' questions weren't bad for her at all.
only downside was that we went to the student tavern to have a celebratory drink following and the bouncer didn't allow me in. while i had my american license, we had a debate regarding it's legality. apparently it's not a legal document. i could understand him not letting me in if i hadn't had any id on me. but not having my passport seemed a bit ridiculous.
